Taking further our principle and philosophy of Learn, share and grow, we are proud to present the first Digital Master Class! Authors of You are the Key, Apurva Chamaria and Gaurav Kakkar will take us through an insightful session in the world of Social Selling.

The authors are digital practitioners who have implemented social selling for a $6 billion, G2000 company spread across 31 countries. While Apurva Chamaria is the Vice President and head of global brand, digital, content marketing and marketing communications for HCL Technologies, Gaurav Kakkar currently heads the Digital Marketing Team of HCL Technologies. All concepts mentioned in the book have been applied, tested and modified based on the experience and outcome of these two.

About The Speakers –

Apurva Chamaria

Apurva Chamaria You are the Key.jpgApurva Chamaria is the Vice President and head of global brand, digital, content marketing and marketing communications for HCL Technologies (HCL), a 7 Bn US$ global IT major.  Under his leadership HCL became the fastest growing brand in the Interbrand top Indian brands league table for 2 years in a row (No. 18 in 2015) and debuted in the Brand Finance Global 500 2015 league table at No. 497 with a brand value of 3.1 Bn US$. In the last 2 years the HCL campaigns have won 70 prestigious global and regional brand and marketing awards. In his 11 years at HCL, he’s performed various roles including being CEO’s Vineet Nayar’s EA, Senior Sales Director at HCL America driving business development and leading Marketing and Strategy for Enterprise Applications Business.

He has worked in various sales & marketing positions at Ranbaxy Laboratories, been a journalist and a client servicing executive at an advertising agency. In various parts of his career he’s worked in Asia-Pacific, India, Africa, U.K. and North America.

He’s also a regular speaker at international and national conferences and teaches a full credit digital marketing course at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) & Great Lakes Institute of Management. He’s a member of the advisory board at Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad. He’s a columnist for the Pitch and Digital Market Asia magazines. His upcoming book “You are the key – unlocking doors through Social Selling” (Bloomsbury) hit #23 in the Amazon India Best-Sellers list* within 10 days of being launched in Jan 2016.

He holds a double master’s in business management (PGP from IMI) and advertising (from IIMC, JNU). He completed his schooling from Mayo College, Ajmer.

Gaurav Kakkar

Gaurav Kakkar You are the KeyGaurav Kakkar currently heads the Digital Marketing team of HCL Technologies (HCL), a 7 Bn US$ global IT major. He is globally responsible for online demand generation, digital platforms management, conceptualizing/ executing the global brand awareness campaigns and, aligning digital closely with the business. He also holds credit for developing various digital marketing propositions which are ready to be taken to the market for global companies.
Under his leadership and distinctive ability, the Digital Marketing team has managed to win 42 awards and is considered as a vital contribution for HCL Technologies which has been regarded as the most awarded IT services company across the globe. He has also created a marketing measurement framework that has won the prestigious international ITSMA Marketing Gold Award, which is considered as the benchmark award for brand excellence in IT services. He has a strong enterprise technology background and holds experience in various industries including banking, finance, retail, publishing and capital markets. He has also led the Sales & Marketing process excellence team previously, which has been responsible for improving productivity of sales & marketing teams by providing world class platforms. He has spoken at various global conferences.
Gaurav has also travelled across the world, coaching people with diverse backgrounds and cultures on social selling. Through this book, he is excited to share his learnings about the social selling with global sales and marketing leaders. He holds double masters and is an alumni of Virginia Polytechnic, USA.
