How would you feel when your project manager is standing behind you, waiting your task to get finished as quickly as possible and your legs are shaking because you don’t know what to do next.
This was the exact scene back in April 2011 when I was working in an MNC as a VLSI verification engineer.
I worked my ‘ass-off’ to get this job.
This was my dream job.
The worst part was – no companies from this field were coming in my college for the recruitment.
This is a very complicated job where you play with the integrated circuits at a nano level. VLSI is one of the most complicated jobs in the world because even a small dust particle in the circuit can break the whole circuit.
You’ll be surprised to hear that VLSI circuit fabrication room is world’s most clean place where you cannot even find a single dust particle.
Yes.. Go to Google and read about it if you are interested.
Why am I telling you all this?
Why am I talking about circuits, fabrication and all?
Because this relates to my story 🙂
I wanted to go in this job, so learnt everything to get into the industry.
Finally, I had my job interview in November 2010 and cleared my life’s first ever interview with 5 rounds.
HR manager asked me, would you work for us if we pay 12,000 INR per month?
I replied, “I would work even if you pay nothing.”
I was so damn passionate about this industry that I was ready to work for free.
But once I got into job, I found that this wasn’t the environment I was looking for.
I used to work late nights and all through the month and didn’t take even a single day break.
The job was hectic.
I asked my team leader, “Sir, what is your package?”
First he hesitated to share it with me.
But once we became good friend, he told that he is getting 18 Lakh per annum after spending 6-7 years in the job.
I felt a WTF moment.
Only 18 lakh after spending 6-7 years?
This was the time when I realized that I am not going to fulfill my dreams with this money.
So I decided to quit.
I made my mind and finally resigned from my job in June 2011.
Now I was a free bird.
Free bird, with no food and no money to survive.
The conditions at my home was so bad that my parents couldn’t even give me 10,000 INR to help me stay in Delhi.
Finally, I sold my bike in 32,000 to arrange some money and my blogging life started.
This is my story of how I became a blogger.
Back in 2011, when I started blogging, I didn’t have resources to get the quick success.
We had only one room, I had no internet connection.
No money to pay hosting, no money to get a fast internet and no money to make my blog a professional blog.
18 months, 18 long months.
I blogged with 2G mobile internet.
Speed was so damn slow that I used to cry.

If you’re trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I’ve had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
I was working on my dreams, so no damn power in this world could stop me.
I worked day and nights to follow my dreams.
With efforts in the right direction, soon things started happening.
I started making $100 a month, $500 a month, $1000 a month, $5000 a month, $10,000 a month, and recently I hit $15,000 mark in the month.
Now let’s talk about how this opened a million dollar door for me.
Here are some crucial things I integrated in my life.
1. I became a better thinker
Believe me or not, a person doing job doesn’t even have time to think about this.
What should he do and how can he make it better.
Companies don’t allow you to think about you, all they want is get their work done on time.
This is the reality.
Recently I met one of my friends after 9 years.
I asked him, “Do you want to do something big in your life.”
He replied, “Yaar itna sochne ka time hi nahin h.” (I don’t have time to think about it)
Companies have flushed the mind so badly that a person cannot even think about his life.
Note: I am not talking about all companies. And I am not against jobs. All I want to say is, everything should be in limits.
I feel blessed that I have become a better thinker. I have the time to think about myself, to give time to myself, to think about my family and to make big plans for future.
By reading a lot of books, I have gained immense knowledge about different aspects of life.
In short – I have become a better person.
2. I am travelling the world
Can you travel the world without money?
In some cases the answer is YES, but in most of the cases, you cannot.
Last year I travelled to 3 new countries, and this year I am targeting 10 new countries.
Blogging has given me so much freedom that I can work from any part of the world (internet connection must be there) and still stay at the top.
I can taste the best drinks, eat the best food in the world, see new places and still make much more money than doing a job.
Travelling the world itself is a million dollar experience.
I am enjoying the life at fullest 😉
3. I have awesome supporters
How would you feel when every status you put on Facebook gets hundreds of like, shares and comments.
People follow you, they appreciate you, they are with you if anything goes wrong.
I have built an awesome community of enthusiastic people around me that they cheer when I win, they applaud when I achieve, and they feel good when I do something good.
I feel blessed to be where I am.
Worth more than multi-million dollars.
4. I am making money online
Many people say it’s a scam.
Scam for those who are losers, who try to find negative in everything.
People are making millions from this industry, so I am also going to make it.
My last year target was to make $100,000 till the year end.
Unfortunately, I missed my target, but $80,000 is not a bad income at all.. 😉
Missed my target by just $20,000.
Note: I am revealing my income for the first time on any blog.
I have set the target of 1 Million Dollar for this year… and the admirer inside me saying again and again that you will make it.
Blogging (or complete online marketing) is a big industry.
Once you do it in the right way, it will open many doors for you.
All you need is patience.
Don’t look for the quick success methods. Put efforts to learn.
I have opened a million dollar door for me.
It’s your turn now.
